چکیده

Abstract Grouted connections (GCs) consist of two infiltrating steel tubes different diameters and a grout material bonding the together. Predominantly, GCs are used to connect foundation piles with jacket support structure. Additionally, it can be applied for monopile substructures. A challenging scientifically still marginally analysed detail grouted is influence early age movement (EAM), also known as cycling (EAC) on final load bearing behaviour connection. After grouting until end curing material, offshore structure partially supported by fluid several hours. During this time waves current affect soft connections. This leads relative during GCs, which EAM. Previous investigations showed damage due vertical These results form basis guideline limits. According DNVGL-OS-J101 from 2014, must ensured that process EAM does not exceed 1 mm. Since 2016 limit value applies lateral according DNVGL. However, barely experimentally nor numerically investigated. Thus, authors involved in comprehensive research project (GREAM) addressing topic. paper focusses Finite Element Analysis structures under varying boundary conditions sea states analyse amplitude

non-linear study of various slit shear walls in steel structures

seismic retrofit strategies have been developed in the past few decades following the introduction of new seismic provisions and the availability of advanced materials and methods. it can be observed that new approaches to deal with more lateral forces are more innovative and more energy absorbent. in line with this, there is a growing trend toward the use of steel shear walls as a system with ...

Finitely Generated Algebraic Structures with Various Divisibility Conditions

Infinite fields are not finitely generated rings. Similar question is considered for further algebraic structures, mainly commutative semirings. In this case, purely algebraic methods fail and topological properties of integral lattice points turn out to be useful. We prove that a commutative semiring that is a group with respect to multiplication, can be two-generated only if it belongs to the...

Early-Age Strength of Ultra-High Performance Concrete in Various Curing Conditions

The strength of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) can be sensitively affected by the curing method used. However, in contrast to the precast plant production of UHPC where a standard high-temperature steam curing is available, an optimum curing condition is rarely realized with cast-in-place UHPC. Therefore, the trend of the compressive strength development of UHPC was experimentally inves...
